Sebastian Pfaffenbichler
is a multi-award winning film and commercial Director of Photography. Over the course of his career Sebastian has collaborated with some of the world’s most talented Directors, biggest global brands, and all leading production companies. Born as the oldest of 7 children in Vienna, Austria. His Father was the Painter & Sculptor Hubert El Hombre Pfaffenbichler.While studying at Vienna's Federal Training and Research Institute of Graphic Arts, he started working for the Austrian State Television ORF as a Camera Assistant and Operator.
In 1990He found the Multimedia and Film Production Monkhill Pictures in Vienna.
In 1992 He was invited to join the Austrian Association of Cinematographers AACIn 2011 His Feature Film SPANIEN, directed by Anja Salomonowitz gained international reputation as opening film for the Forum Section of the Berlinale International Film FestivalIn 2013 He was invited to join the German Advertising Film AcademyHe lives with his wife and dog Margaux in Los Angeles, London and Vienna.
